Accounting Clerk - 3 month contract
Location: Concord, Ontario

Summary of the role:
This role is with a highly attractive and world-renowned brand. The client is looking for a dynamic person to help the accounts payable department. The candidate must be willing to work hard in a busy environment to ensure that the team is receiving the best possible support.
To be successful in this role:
You should have at least 2-3 years of A / P experience and hold a degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance. You have strong time management and organizational skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Review and process invoices while ensuring accuracy of coding to the general ledger
- Match purchase orders confirming prices and quantity to vendors invoices
- Coordinate with vendors regarding invoicing, payment inquiries and discrepancies
- Check Runs, Process Disbursements, Invoice Coding and Credit Memorandums
- Using Accounting Software to Generate Reports and Compile Data
- Identify Invoices for Payment and Obtain Approval
- Photocopy, Scan and File Documents
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- 3+ Years Accounts Payable experience
- GL accounts, coding invoices, capital expenses, familiar with GAAP
- College or University Course in Accounting
- Experience with Accounting Software
- High Attention to Detail is a Must for this Role
- Proficient Computer Literacy
- Ability to Learn Quickly and Multi-Task
