Description

 

Working with the Food Services Director, our Cooks must be adept at reading and comprehending complex dietary instructions provided by physicians and dietitians. Many of our residents are put on special diets that require exact ingredients. Cooks must be skilled at interpreting instructions on food preparation and ensure that meals are labeled correctly when they leave the kitchen.

Qualified candidates must be able to follow instructions (verbal and written).  ServSafe Certification is preferred.  Previous experience in a long-term care or other healthcare environment is preferred.

This is a part-time role (7 hours per week):  12 - 7:30 pm Every other Weekend
