Human Factors Engineering Technical Manager

The Role:
Are you ready to join a team involved with designing exciting products for a great company? Logitech is now looking for a Human Factors Engineering (HFE) technical manager to join the team.

• Make the link between ID/CMF design with ME/CMF engineering, by using the tool of quantifying ME/CMF engineering design impact on user experiences, emotions etc.
• Collaborate across different BGs' business & product design team
• Prototyping. HFE should be able to conduct fast prototyping to evaluate ideas and experience to help the project team to understand consumer's needs
• Translate the concept descriptions from Mkt into a feasible/achieveable engineering activities
• Conduct independent research on multiple projects and play as individual contributor. Work under minimal supervision, independently plan, schedule and coordinate human factors activities
• Implement innovation ideas for Logitech
• Running research studies, analyzing the data, and using storytelling, data, and visualizations to lead project teams in translating findings into successful product designs

Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
• Technical competence:
 - Good communicator as the Human Factors Engineering champion
 - An expert in understanding customers' emotion and behaviors and surprising insights to drive design decisions
 - An expert at methodologically sound and innovative customer research and in discovering new business opportunities for future growth
 - Familiar with materials knowhow & technology (plastic, metal, flexible technology and so on)
• Personal competence
 - Fluent English (reading, speaking and writing)
 - Being able to work efficiently in a global, multi-cultural, flexible, fast-moving environment
 - Attention to details
 - Willing to travel
• Experience (minimum )
 - Minimum 5 years professional UX/HFE experience
 - Experience championing human factors engineering
 - Excellent collaboration, communication, leadership, influencing, and presentation skills
• Travel:
 - Around 20% travel globally
University degree or equivalent, or above in one of the following specialties: Human Factors Engineering, Ergonomics, Usability Engineering, Cognitive/Experimental Psychology, Industrial Design, Engineering Psychology
