Description

An upscale venue in State College, PA, is is seeking to fill a Catering, Wedding & Event Coordinator position to coordinate catering events for weddings, celebrations, education and business activities and more.  

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Must be able to work an irregular schedule to meet event demands.

• A proven record of event sales coordination experience

• Wedding industry experience

• Strong interpersonal and communications skills

• Ability to generate results in a high-level customer service environment

• Able to understand and generate BEOs

• Highly proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs

• Able to start and complete tasks in a proactive and timely way

• Work well and communicate easily with managers and staff

• Strong time management skills

• Proven problem solving abilities, self-motivated and organized

• An understanding of social media

• Sales and networking capabilities

The position is full-time, but part-time can be considered. Previous experience in the wedding industry and strong administration skills are required.
