Description

An upscale event venue located near Penn State University is seeking an experienced individual to provide customer sales and service, build bookings and oversee facility operations and brand improvements.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A proven record of event sales management experience

• Wedding industry experience

• An understanding of social media

• Sales and networking capabilities

• Strong interpersonal and communications skills

• Ability to generate results in a high-level customer service environment

• Able to understand and generate BEOs

• Highly proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs

• Able to start and complete tasks in a proactive and timely way

• Work well and communicate easily with managers and staff

• Strong time management skills

• Proven problem solving abilities, self-motivated and organized

• Must be able to work an irregular schedule to meet event demands

The position is full-time, but part-time can be considered.
