The Role:

The IT Security Operations Analyst is responsible for Daily monitoring of IT security events, including incident and vulnerability management. This role works at the direction of the Senior CyberSecurity Architect and collaboratively with others to detect and respond to information security incidents, maintain and follow procedures for security event alerting, and participate in security investigations.

This role monitors and analyzes security events relative to Logitech's infrastructure.The IT Security Operations Analyst should have familiarity with the principles of network and endpoint security, current threat and attack trends, and have a working knowledge of security principles such as defence in depth.

  • Perform real-time security log and event analysis taking appropriate action within defined parameters

  • Monitor and proactively execute the vulnerability management plan to prevent or reduce issues from impacting production systems

  • Assist with security investigations to determine root cause, impact and remediation steps

  • Maintain security toolsets and reporting dashboards

  • Identify and analyze malware including global trends

  • Assist in security solution design in support of business initiatives and the IT Security Strategy

  • Provide support to other IT teams with regard to security design or functionality

  • Work to continuously improve security operations procedures supporting the IT Security Strategy

  • Communicate effectively with technical teams, business personnel and service providers

  • Serve as escalation point for security incidents working closely with SOC team

  • Manage with highest regard sensitive and confidential information and situations

  • Research and analysis of security vulnerabilities and industry trends

  • Regular report out of IT security events along with remediation activities

  • Preserving evidence gathered during incidents and investigations

  • Report out of security operations metrics

  • Relevant communications to IT technical teams

  • Documentation of global IT security operations

  • Adherence to global IT security processes

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviours to our team:

  • Practical experience in vulnerability management and incident handling

  • Practical experience working with varied vulnerability management, SIEM and ticketing solutions

  • 5+ years IT Experience with at least 3-5 years in IT Security capacity

  • At least 3+ years of security technology and / or compliance experience supporting production system management in a UNIX, Microsoft Windows, or other industry leading technical environment

  • Strong communication (written/verbal) and collaboration skills

  • Problem solving skills

  • Experience working in large, geographically dispersed IT organizations and a decentralized Security Model
