Internship Terms: Minimum 3 months unpaid InternshipLunch and local transport compensationCandidate must be eligible to work in Slovenia and must also be available for a Skype interviewWorking hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00 and some weekends (to be taken as days in lieu) Position Summary: As an intern, you will be responsible for assisting the student services and accommodation coordination team. The focus, in general, is on delivering great service to our students at all times by providing product and service information, resolving product and service problems with an outcome that the student appreciates, and by ensuring each student experience with Academia and their accommodation exceeds their expectations. Key Responsibilities: Assisting the Student Services Team by being the first point of contact and advisor for all students and visitors to the CollegeProviding excellent customer service in a customer-facing roleAdministrative office dutiesResponsible for assisting with the efficient running of the accommodation function including the allocation of residences and homestay within the agreed timeframe set down by company policyInputting of bookings into Academia's central booking systemPreparing different kinds of lists by using Excel and PublisherAssists with the planning, implementation and promoting of student activities assisting students with their requirements in this areaEnsuring the smooth delivery of student firsts including airport transfers, welcoming students on arrival at residences and if appropriate liaising with our homestay delivery partner to assign the best fit homestay familyHelping students with any issues they may have within the school and solving themOther related duties as assigned by College management Learning Objectives: This internship will give you great insight into office work, and an opportunity in assisting with the running of a successful business. Adequate training to perform your job to the correct standard will be provided. You will have full support in this role throughout your internship and work closely with a small team. Upon completion, you will then be certified by an Academia Certificate of Completion. Above all, it is a great opportunity to interact with people from various countries/cultures and also to practice written and spoken business English.
