Description

TAD PGS, INC. is currently seeking an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician for one of our clients in . Objective: - Exercises independent discretion in performing a full array of maintenance related work. - Responsible as a facilities technician providing effective operation. - Maintenance and repairing electronic manufacturing equipment to ensure a smooth facilities and manufacturing operations. Description: - Install, maintain and repair a variety of electro-mechanical equipment. - Perform daily monitoring and preventative maintenance activities on all critical systems. - Modify and adjust complex process equipment and instruments. - Troubleshoot complex problems associated with electro-mechanical machinery. - Install electric parts and hardware using equipment such as soldering irons. - Align equipment part handling features for proper functionality using hand and power tools. - Perform inspection daily to determine startup problems. - Diagnose issues with complex control systems and employ tactics to resolve them effectively. - Maintain knowledge of drawings, blueprints, schematics and inspection manuals. - Help in the Fabrication of replacements for unavailable parts until procured. - Fill out progress forms and create reports for each task completed during the day. - Working with others to implement injury prevention and compliance initiatives. - Provide support for facility related projects, including Contractor Management. - Assist in compliance inspections and EHS program implementation as requested. - Assist facility in obtaining and maintaining VPP Star Status. - Be responsible to lead and drive successful installations, shutdowns, operations, troubleshooting, and controls strategy. - Performs other work whenever it is conducive to efficient operations and/or maintaining business operations, including project direction, layout work, and planning of equipment installations. - Provide support for facility related projects, including Contractor Management. - Assist in compliance inspections and EHS program implementation as requested. - Assist facility in obtaining and maintaining VPP Star Status. Requirements: - College Level Associates or Technical School Certification plus 5 years of experience as a facilities and electronic manufacturing equipment a manufacturing environment. - Demonstrated verbal and written communications. - Thorough understanding of facility support systems including electrical, heating/cooling, and plumbing systems. Schedule: - Monday thru Friday 8 am-4:30 pm. - Must have flexibility for emergency calls and weekends.
