Review appraiser is responsible for the review of 1-4 unit residential real estate appraisals for technical requirements and reasonableness of appraisal conclusions.
Essential/Primary Job Functions:
Review of 1-4 unit residential real estate appraisals received from external appraisers to ensure compliance with USPAP, agency/investor guidelines and internal policies; facilitate requests for reconsideration of value to external appraisers with appropriate documentation; act as liaison between external appraisers and internal staff for purposes of requesting clarifications and additional information regarding appraisal report; research additional comp and subject property data when necessary.
Job Requirements for Essential/Primary Job Functions:
Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills; knowledge of real estate value trends and property developments; knowledge of USPAP and agency/investor appraisal guidelines; ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; intermediate computer skills; ability to maintain high level of service during peak periods.
Bachelor’s degree with major in real estate or finance preferred; state certified real estate appraiser license; two years review appraisal experience.
