O&M Readiness Project Manager
The primary objective of the role is to support the Project O&M Package Manager in preparing the project for
operation by ensuring all O&M contracts are in place prior to O&M handover.
The role will also manage the O&M interfaces with all PROJECT packages to ensure that O&M requirements are
considered, while undertaking the role as O&M technical lead for foundations and innovation test projects for the
The individual will support the package manager in ensuring all PROJECT Trading and Accreditation requirements
are fulfilled in accordance with regulatory requirements on behalf of the Offshore project.
The primary objective of the role is to support the PROJECT O&M Package lead in preparing the project for the
commencement of site operations.
The individual will perform the following key tasks:
•Ensure the package requirements are delivered with a strong emphasis on health, safety, quality and
•Lead the PROJECT O&M Contracting Team to specify, tender and place all maintenance contracts to enable the
site operation according to the package programme and in accordance with Iberdrola processes.
•Manage the PROJECT O&M interfaces with all PROJECT packages and Asset Integrity Management Team to
ensure that O&M requirements are communicated to and actioned by the project.
•Provide technical expert input on behalf of the O&M Team for foundations and innovation test projects to ensure
O&M design requirements are delivered.
•Lead interface between O&M and General Services to ensure that site facilities (O&M base) are delivered in
accordance with Iberdrola standards (Corporate frameworks utilised, Iberdrola Brand and furnishing requirements
•Supporting the package manager to manage PROJECT interfaces to ensure Trading and Accreditation
requirements are fulfilled in accordance with regulatory requirements on behalf of the project.
In addition to the tasks outline above the individual shall also be required to carry out typical project management
activities such as reporting, planning, risk management and resource management.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
•Degree qualification in Engineering.
•Sound knowledge of Offshore Wind Operations and Maintenance.
•Good understanding of current H&S legislation applicable to offshore operations and electrical generation.
•Experience of managing interfaces of multidisciplinary teams spread across multiple locations.
•Experience of developing and managing project programmes and managing budgets and resources.
•Strong technical understanding of maintenance of offshore wind turbine foundation structures.
•Experience, knowledge and understanding negotiation of commercial contracts.
•Ability to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing working environment and demonstrate a positive approach to change.
•Advanced user of Microsoft office applications.
•Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially related to multicultural relationships.
•Willing to travel Europe on occasion necessitating overnight stays
