ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
. Follow and enforce all plant safety rules and policies
. Understand and promote Magna’s philosophies and Employee’s Charter
. Assist the Team Leader in all aspects of the job to ensure the Press Line runs at
. Must have good housekeeping practices.
. Promote good housekeeping
. Perform other duties as required.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
. Understand and practice the 5S principles.
. Understand and practice the TPM duties associated with the equipment you are
. Understand the assembly process and the SOP’s of the line you are assigned to.
. Demonstrate safe working practices by using PPE properly LOTO etc.
. Understand the components of quality in your job and your affect on them.
. Proficiency in the tagging and documentation requirements of the line you are
-Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
-Work in co-operation with others.
Adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
