Certified Veterinary Technician Supervisor for mixed animal practice located just north of downtown Los Angeles in beautiful Agua Dulce, California

How would you like to combine your love of animals, technical and management skills?  Sounds like the perfect job!  It is, we are looking for an experienced certified technician with exceptional leadership skills to lead our technical team at Sweetwater Veterinary Clinic. Our veterinary technician supervisor will ensure that the organization and structure within the hospital are enhanced.

In this role you will:

  • Work closely with our technical team and doctors
  • Promote greater efficiency by ensuring technical team is relieving veterinarians of technical work and administrative details
  • Train, supervise, and assist the veterinary technicians in their performance of a variety of technical and client education duties.
  • Provide guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance
  • Maintain inventory

Requirements:

  • Veterinary Technician certification
  • 2 years’ management/supervisory experience
  • Some weekends, holidays and evenings will be required
