  • Looking for a Data Scientist who can extract insights from data and help us build a better product!
  • Mandatory: Deep understanding of machine learning (ML)/data mining algorithms and techniques
  • Building and optimizing classifiers Work closely with the Analytics team in developing new models
  • 3+ years R development experience Excellent understanding of machine learning algorithms
  • Experience with data science toolkits NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, scikit-learn
  • Use trends to build ML models that help make predictions and/or recommendations
  • Has the ability to interpret data using methodologies such as pattern recognition, anomaly detection, signal processing etc. and present data and model findings in a way that provides actionable insights

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with large data sets Good scripting and programming skills Work with and alongside stakeholders to model and frame business scenarios that are meaningful and impactful on critical business processes and/or decisions Identify what data is available and relevant for problem solving
  • Design and develop innovative and effective approaches to solve analytics problems
  • Collaborate and communicate with management and internal team regarding analysis results, methodologies, project progress, and issue resolution
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced team members Has passion and self-motivation to explore large data sets in creative ways
  • Can process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis
  • Can perform ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear visually appealing manner
  • Can create automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance
  • Can develop, custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets Is able to learn and grow with the field
