Job Summary
Doherty Staffing Solutions (a division of Doherty | The Employment Experts) is now interviewing for a Recruiting Assistant to join our team in Marshall, MN. This position is responsible for interviewing, hiring, and placing candidates for a variety of openings. Compensation for this contract role is $12.00-$15.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Recruiting Assistant Main Responsibilities:
    •Interviewing, hiring and placing employees •Filling client orders with a high regard to quality of candidate to ensure best match •Performing all daily office tasks such as entering paperwork, answering busy phones, and greeting applicants in a timely and professional manner •Communicating with employees regarding interviews and status updates •Completing daily safety walk checklist •Facilitating new hire operations •Coaching employees on interview skills, attendance, and attitude •Giving tours to new hires •Completing incident reports and all follow-up activity with claims department •Connecting with current and former employees for feedback

Recruiting Assistant Key Requirements:
    •High School Diploma or GED and two years related experience and/or training •Preferred: Two years of college and two years related work experience •Previous customer service experience •Excellent verbal and written English skills •Preferred second language skills •Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and non-verbally with all levels of employees, management, co-workers, and customers •Must be comfortable communicating face-to-face, via the phone and email •Ability to lead and take direction in a team environment •Must have excellent organizational, and listening skills •Must have the ability to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions quickly and effectively •Must be pro-active in addressing potential issues and minimize problems before they occur •Ability to present oneself in a confident manner and maintain one's composure •Must be able to maintain a clean, professional appearance and image •Ability to multitask and prioritize for efficient and effective completion of tasks
