Job Description :

Contract-6 months 
Location-Dallas, Texas 

Technical/Functional Skills: 
1. Metadata Asset Manager 
2. Build data governance Policies 
3. Manage lifecycle of metadata 
4. Use REST and open APIs 
5. Metadata migration 
6. Extended data sources and mappings 
7. Manage multi-language environment configuration 
8. Custom lineage reports, subscriptions, deployment architectures 
9. Troubleshoot issues 

Roles & Responsibilities: 
Define users, roles, access levels, Catalog permissions, Custom attributes and custom views 
Design and build category hierarchy for business vocabulary and governance policies 
Configure and execute data and business lineage 
Create and manage workflow, operational metadata, extended data sources and mappings 
Import preexisting business metadata 
Import and export data using the rest API 
Support common metadata migration 
Create, import, export, and run queries 
Manage lifecycle of metadata 
Troubleshoot issues using system logs, operations console 
Define and assign labels, stewards, data classes 
Differentiate between business metadata, technical metadata, and operational metadata 
Design and manage collections, external asset types 
Link business and technical metadata 
Link design-time metadata to implementation metadata 
Import asset definitions using Metadata Asset Manager 
Manage multi-language environment configuration 
Import asset definitions using command line tools 
Import and export common metadata using command line tools 
Implement subscriptions 
Design, configure, and produce custom lineage reports 
Create new asset types using open metadata API 
Create and import data lineage flows using open metadata API 
Customer POC & support customer as and when needed 
Requirements Gathering, Analysis, Design 
Onsite/Offshore Coordination 
Knowledge Transition to Maintenance Team 
Strong oral and written communication skills 
Ability to communicate effectively with Technical and Business Architects, Functional Analysts, Developers, Testers, other IT teams and business customers 
Ability to document the design artifacts, unit test cases and implementation plans 
Experience coaching less experienced team members with things like troubleshooting, problem solving, proper coding techniques, design review do’s and don’ts, etc
