Payroll Specialist Main Responsibilities:
- •Reviews payroll register and employee personnel changes to avoid errors
•Ensures that all benefits and insurance premiums are deducted from paychecks
•Tracks PTO to ensure that they are accurately listed on paystubs
•Adheres to all state and federal regulations for payroll processing
•Responds to inquiries related to benefits and time and attendance
•Processes monthly bonuses, quarterly bonuses, commission, and PTO.
•Keeps detailed and organized payroll records
Payroll Specialist Key Requirements:
- •Demonstrates familiarity with basic word processing programs and spreadsheets.
•Exhibits understanding of company benefits such as 401(k), insurance, paid leave, and other voluntary deductions.
•Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
•Possesses knowledge of time and attendance software such as ADP Workforce Now.
•2-3 years of work experience in the accounting or payroll preferred.
