Project Overview

The project involves 2nd level technical support activities for 2 complex systems used in the BMW plants worldwide. Both systems are part of the Real Time Information and Localization systems in BMW.

As an Application Support Consultant, you will be required to provide 2nd Level post-live issue resolution within Service Level Agreement timeframes – specific investigation, solution identification, recommendation, configuration, unit testing, and solution documentation. The team is based in Timisoara and consists of 5 colleagues which are managed locally.

  • Incident Management in accordance with customer SLA
  • Problem Management in accordance with customer SLA
  • Change Management in accordance with customer regulations
  • Knowledge Management
  • Strong cooperation with the technical users from the final client and the 3rd level support teams
  • On-call duty is required

 

What you are good at & what you will need to win

  • At least 1-2 years of experience within application management and technical support field
  • Strong knowledge in Windows and Oracle Databases (SQL / PostgreSQL)
  • Excellent German and English skills
  • A highly motivated person with a positive can-do attitude and very well organized
  • Because we pride ourselves on the precision of Word Class Service to all our clients some after hours and public holiday work may be required from time to time
  • ITIL Certification represents a plus
  • Experience in the automotive industry is nice to have
