Doherty Career Solutions is partnering with a full-service information technology consulting firm in their search for customer service oriented individuals with a technical background to join them as Help Desk Technicians. Enjoy a weekday schedule of Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with starting compensation of $18.00-$20.00 per hour.
Help Desk Representative Main Responsibilities:
o Create tickets in customer service software generated from any source
o Answer phones and direct calls to the proper parties
o Dispatch tickets to technicians using the calendar in the customer service software
o Review alerts and create tickets when applicable
o Escalate client issues to Supervisors or Managers when critical systems are reported down
o Work with Facilities Supervisor to maintain company vehicle keys and assignment of vehicles to employees
o Notify Procurement of necessary software renewals
Help Desk Representative Key Requirements:
o High School diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred
o Customer service, communication and organizational skills
o Basic technical skills and familiarity with IT terminology
o Past technical experience a plus
o Flexibility to work under tight deadlines and/or shifting priorities
o Professional and polished image at all times
o Knowledge of ConnectWise a plus
