Description

Lutsen Resort on Lake Superior is accepting applications for a Human Resources Coordinator. This is an entry-level position responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources Director.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative tasks such as performing background checks, filing paperwork, completing employee documentation, recording data on each current employee
  • Assist with the recruitment and orientation of all new staff
  • Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment
  • Data entry in HCM software
  • Manage employee housing; assigning rooms, lease agreements, RA oversight, and unit turnovers
  • Supply orders
  • Other jobs as assigned

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
  • Must be ethical, discrete, and have ability to handle data confidentially
  • Highly organized and detail oriented 
  • Computer skills with experience in MS Office
  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent
  • AA degree in Human Resources or related field highly desired
  • Administrative experience in hospitality industry a plus
