Doherty Career Solutions is currently partnering with a leading distributor of Fluid Power and Motion Control components and is seeking an Technical Customer Service person to work in Eden Prairie, MN. Pay is dependent on experience. Technical Customer Service professionals represent the Company to customers with the knowledge and skills to provide them the products or services they need. Technical Customer Service Main Responsibilities:

    •Respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes, and take customer orders


    •Order and source products


    •Negotiate sale and purchase prices


    •Proactively generate sales and promote Company products


    •Expedite backorders


    •Assist with pulling inventory and preparing shipments


    •Assist with customer returns


    •Interact with customers and suppliers to obtain and fill orders correctly


    •Vendor management support


    •Troubleshoot customer concerns #greatcareers

Technical Customer Service Key Requirements:

    •Must have a 2-year technical degree


    •Experience in the Industrial Automation or related field preferred


    •Possess a strong electronic /mechanical aptitude


    •Excellent communication skills


    •Ability to problem solve and manage multiple priorities


    •Reliable, organized, detailed, and focused


    •Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and pc proficient
