MAF transports patients, relief workers, produce and medical supplies to the world’s remotest regions and places of deepest human need – places where flying is not a luxury but a lifeline.
Papua New Guinea is one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world. Your ability to analyse figures will aid in the monthly preparation of management accounts and support the preparation of annual budgets. Being a systematic thinker, you will also assist the Finance Manager with writing policies, procedures and deputise in their absence.
Your role will be to actively uphold finance policy and procedures. You will do this by helping to improve internal controls and giving appropriate finance input to management meetings. Other duties will include assisting with credit control, filing Goods and Services Tax (GST) and carrying out internal audits.
The successful applicant will be expected to take part in and lead prayer and biblical reflection, and to be a role model for the organisation in accordance with our Christian beliefs and standards in the workplace.
