Under the general supervision of the Electronic Services Manager, the Electronic Services Associate is responsible for a variety of MIS Department duties, which may include but is not limited to Automated Clearing House (ACH), check/ATM (Automated Teller Machine) cards and check processing.

Ensures ACH, payroll and member share drafts are posted in a timely manner, in accordance with all applicable Federal regulations and credit union policies and procedures.
Posts entries to appropriate GL’s.
Receives, reviews and processes returned deposit items.
Reviews and prepares transit items, encodes checks as necessary, bundles, totals and forwards to
Researches and adjusts encoding errors.
Processes check collection items from other financial institutions.
Follows established departmental policies and procedures necessary to settle and balance ATMs and ITMs.
Prepares reports on ATM downtime and preventative maintenance and resolves machine breakdowns.
Processes shared network disputes and maintains GL associated with said transactions.
Processes bond claim paperwork and ascertains that proper credit is received.
Remote Deposit Anywhere Users Setup.
Performs a variety of transactions on member accounts and prepared authorized changes on account.
Responds to the needs and questions of computer users concerning their access and use of the computer system.
Distributes incoming facsimile (fax) documents, orders forms, documents and supplies, and maintains fax machine.
Maintains confidentiality of member and Credit Union information as outlined in Section 9 of the Employee Handbook.
Ability to work evenings and weekends, and to be on-call as needed.
Regularly attends and participates in in-house training.
Performs duties as assigned by management and may be assigned to work at any branch.
Ensures personal safety and security, as well as that of co-workers, by safely and securely operating and handling Credit Union equipment property. Observes safe work practices, keeping immediate area clean and unobstructed, equipment maintained properly, and all Credit Union safety policies followed.
Follows policies and procedures related to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Customer Identification Program (CIP) to ensure daily compliance with current regulations.

Education and Experience
One year of increasingly responsible related experience within a financial institution.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
Board policies and Credit Union goals, organizational structure, policies, procedures (including Office Procedure Manual and Employee Handbook) and practices.
Credit Union products, services, programs, and promotions.
Computer system/software to effectively perform job.
Other Skills and Abilities
Ability to be bonded.
Operates a variety of office equipment and machines.
Ability to travel, attend, and participate in meetings, seminars, and conferences.
