About the position:

As part of the team, you will be working on High-Performance-Computing (HPC) Solutions supporting local and global companies designing the most complex hardware and software systems in the world. You will be helping companies manage their engineering & development resources and accelerate design flow process.

Responsibilities:

Hands-on technical mastery of the company’s HPC’s solutions.

On-Going customers remote and on-site visits to ensure product adoption.

Technical Pre-Sales - prepare and deliver product presentations and demonstrations

Technical Post-Sale - Accountability for monitoring and resolving tech-support cases/tickets with high customer’s satisfaction, including services and training.

Co-working with Altair’s eco-system such as Product Management, Engineering, Support, Professional Services and Quality Assurance organizations.

Create FAQ’s and contribute to training, forums, and documentation development.

Provide direction to the company’s Engineering on areas for product improvement.

Requirements:

A strong team player with the ability to solve complex process issues with creativity and initiative.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Customer Orientation – Has a passion to help people.

3+ years of Pre-Sales and Support experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics.

Experience in one or more of the following areas: Scheduling software, IT infrastructure management for large scale computer applications.

Working knowledge of Linux platforms, networking, and multi-core HPC server technologies and associated hardware, Unix utilities and FlexPLM.

Working knowledge of job schedulers.

Demonstrated scripting skills ( Tcl, csh, bsh, optional: Python, Perl).

Tcl/Tk programming skills is a strong plus.

Experience supporting EDA/CAD development
