Registered Nurse. NICU. 12 hour day shift. Must have 2 years recent experience. BLS required.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Nurses provide care for newborns that need close monitoring or specialized care due to premature birth, infection, birth defects or other medical conditions that require surgeries or therapies. They will provide direct care to these infants, who require high-technology care, including ventilators or other special equipment, incubators or surgery. The nurses work together with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop a plan of care for high-risk newborns.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of current NICU experience and uphold the mandatory BCLS, NRP/NALS certification. Preferred certification consists of an NICU course.
