To ensure the overall cleaning and appearance of assigned areas in keeping with contract specifications. Responsible for reporting all equipment malfunction to ensure replacement actions occur in a timely manner.

WAGES: $17.75/hr.

QUALIFICATIONS:

— High School Diploma or GED

— 1 year of work experience in floor care, knowledge of floor types (hardwood, VCT, carpet), and the techniques required for each.

· Required to complete Spartan Clean Check Floor Certification within 30 days of hire.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Standing for up to 8 hours

· Able to lift maximum weight of 50 pounds vertically and 50 pounds horizontally, and carry described weights a maximum distance of 100 feet*

· The position requires mobility dexterity involving standing, walking, twisting, reaching, bending, crouching, and kneeling, and the ability to handle and lift equipment and other items.

· Must possess adequate vision, and dexterity levels, appropriate to the duties to be performed.

JOB CONDITIONS:

Working hours will vary according to the availability of shifts.

This position is non-exempt and receives overtime pay at one- and one-half times the regular rate of pay for all hours worked over 40 hours in a workweek beginning Saturday 12:00am through Friday midnight.
