Description

This position is the secondary contact for promotional item order for DRTC Awards customers. Maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with customer. Coordinate with Area Merchandising Manager for scheduling orders.

WAGES: $15.00/hr.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency (G.E.D., HiSET, TASC)
  • Experience in Graphic Design
  • Customer service experience
  • Ad Specialty or award business experience helpful
  • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities helpful

HIRING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Must be able to pass OSBI, MVR, DHS Registry Check and any oth3er background check as agency is required or deems necessary
  • Must possess a current valid OK Driver’s License

  • Must have knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw programs
  • Mechanical aptitude and creativity
  • High level of professionalism

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • The following physical requirements are necessary to meet this Job Description:
  • Standing up to eight (8) hours
  • Able to move maximum weight of 50 pounds (vertically)
  • Able to move maximum weight of 25 pounds (horizontally)
  • Able to move the above-described weights a maximum distance of 100 feet
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret written material, job specific procedures, and instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from staff and the public
  • Regularly required to talk with or listen to others
  • Frequently required to sit and use hands to handle/feel objects, tools or controls
  • Required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms
  • Vision requirements include depth perception, ability to see peripherally and ability to adjust vision to bring objects into focus

NOTE - Staff will be counseled for failure to adhere to maximum weights or for non-use of required Safety Equipment.

JOB CONDITIONS:

Normal working hours are from 8:00 – 5:00 p.m. up to 25 hours a week Monday through Friday with two 15-minute breaks if scheduling allows. Lunch (floating) will be determined based on an eight-hour workday.

This position is non-exempt and receives overtime pay at one- and one-half times the regular rate of pay for all hours worked over 40 hours in a workweek beginning Saturday 12:00am through Friday midnight.

This position is classified under Secondary Remote Work Designation - approximately 50% of job functions can be typically completed remotely based on a 40 hour per week work schedule. This position will be up to 50% remote based on program needs. Remote hours are not guaranteed, and staff are eligible for up to this amount of remote work, based on agency need.

RESPONSIBILITIES – Essential Functions:

  • Obtain artwork from customers or develop and/or revise artwork and layout for customer approval.
  • To fax or e-mail specific order information to customers for approval
  • Coordinate with Area Merchandising Manager the ordering of products from suppliers as needed.
  • Perform customer calls and document data.
  • Screen printer assistant
  • Laser Engraver assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES - Ancillary Functions:

To assist the Area Merchandising Manager in taking orders

  • Performing general clerical duties as needed
  • Other duties as assigned according to the Area Merchandising Manager
