Description

The Storeroom Supervisor will be responsible for receiving orders, ordering supplies, posting in computer, and organizing stock. Will also maintain storeroom area and follow all storeroom procedure guidelines.

Monday – Friday, 5:00am-1:00pm. Hours will vary due to inventory and will require working some weekends and holidays.

Pay Rate: $21.00/per hour 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in ordering, inventory, shipping and receiving
  • General understanding of food safety procedures and HACCP
  • Computer literacy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Preferred: Experience with DOD Stores, Aloha, and Crunchtime system

Hiring Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Must be able to pass background checks that are required to enter work site, and any other background check agency deems necessary
  • Must meet badge requirements for all assigned buildings
  • Must possess a valid Oklahoma Driver License

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of inventory control and support systems.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety.
  • Understanding of FIFO system.
  • Required to monitor all food and beverage items, and ensure they meet Public Health, and all AFI code regulations.
  • Knowledge and ability to recognize and assess the defined quality requirements to fulfill the Performance Work Statement
  • Must possess good verbal and written communication skills, human relation skills, time management skills, and have a proven leadership background
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule
  • Professional dress, speech, and conduct is a must
  • Ability to respond to customer needs effectively and in a timely manner

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged standing (up to 8 hours)
  • The position requires walking, twisting, reaching, bending, crouching and kneeling.
  • May also grasp, push, pull, drag and lift equipment and other items
  • Must have mobility, vision, and dexterity levels appropriate to the duties to be performed
  • Able to move/relocate weight of 50 pounds vertically
  • Able to move/relocate weight of 25 pounds horizontally

Job Conditions:

Work hours will vary depending on contract needs with a 30-minute lunch. This position is required to work evenings & weekends as needed to meet training requirements and contract needs.

This position is non-exempt and receives overtime pay at one- and one-half times the regular rate of pay for all hours worked over 40 hours in a workweek beginning Saturday 12:00am through Friday midnight.

The position will supervise storeroom clerk and FS worker/food prep workers, as assigned

  • Serve Safe Managers Certification

  • CPR/SFA/AED
  • SourceAmerica Compliance Requirements
  • Crunchtime/Aloha Certification
  • Department of Labor (DOL) Compliance Requirements
  • Cart training to include load placement and weight distribution
  • Glove & Glove Inspection training
  • Any other trainings assigned by the Facility Manager or Contract Manager

Responsibilities – Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for ordering supplies and posting orders using the government information system.
  • Supervision, training, and coaching of assigned storeroom employees.
  • Verify receipt and PO trail for products ordered via prime and secondary vendors.
  • Inspection of offsite walk-in cooler at building 6001
  • Will inform supervisor of shortages in stock, or a change in delivery patterns due to holidays, in a timely manner.
  • Responsible to ensure all requisition sheets from cooks are properly audited with AF Form 662.
  • Will be responsible for posting items that have been returned
  • Responsible to ensure storeroom cleanliness: walk-in refrigerators/freezers must be swept and mopped; ensure that walls and shelves are clean, trash is emptied, and trash bins are cleaned.
  • Maintain sanitary conditions for all other storeroom equipment.
  • Effective and efficient organization dry goods in storeroom.
  • Maintain organized walk-in refrigerators/freezers.
  • Ensure that stock is rotated, and expiration dates are within guidelines for appropriate use.
