Description

The Business Analyst will support the organization's business processes by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data. They will work closely with stakeholders across the agency to help identify business needs, document requirements, and support the development of solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve business processes and drive efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or at least three years related experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office with advanced expertise in Excel
  • Basic understanding of data analysis techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

HIRING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Must have a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License
  • Must be able to pass a background check as required by the agency
  • Must meet all employment eligibility requirements

JOB CONDITIONS:

  • Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a one (1) hour lunch break
  • Primary work environment is office-based, with controlled climate conditions and moderate noise levels
  • This is a nonexempt position eligible for overtime pay

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents and data
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and process documentation
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
  • Regularly required to talk, listen, and use hands to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Required to sit for long periods, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
  • May occasionally need to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus

RESPONSIBILITIES – ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist in gathering and analyzing data to support business initiatives
  • Document and communicate business requirements to relevant stakeholders
  • Support the development and implementation of business and data workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management
  • Participate in project meetings and provide input on project deliverables
  • Coordinate and facilitate proposal pricing and associated invoicing
  • Support budget and expense tracking for multiple programs
  • Maintain an organized system for contract document management, ensuring all files are up-to-date, easily accessible, and compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Perform regular audits of contract files to verify completeness and accuracy.
