Description
Responsible for timely and accurate payroll preparation processes at five (5) Federal Contracts throughout the Oklahoma City area. Includes two (2) contracts at Tinker Air Force Base; GSA downtown; FAA/USM at Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite to include, Word, proficiency with Excel, data entry, filing, word processing.
- Previous experience in payroll software systems
HIRING REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- Must be able to pass background checks required for worksite access, and
- other background checks deemed necessary by the Agency.
- Must meet badge requirements to enter assigned contract sites.
- Must possess a valid Oklahoma Driver License; must provide copy to Human Resources upon hire and upon renewal
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills, human relation skills, organizational and time management skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Highly effective at working independently with minimal supervision
- Must possess reliable personal transportation, necessary for travel to contract sites
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Professional conduct and dress.
- Exemplary attendance.
- Strict adherence to HIPPA privacy guidelines
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to move/relocate maximum weight of 15 pounds vertically and horizontally
- Able to move/relocate 15 pounds a minimum distance of 15 feet, including up and down stairs.
- Work is performed in an office environment and requires sitting for prolonged periods of time using a computer keyboard and screen. Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the job.
- Ability to use computer keyboard and technological devices as needed.
NOTE: Employee will be coached for failure to adhere to guidelines relevant to maximum weight or for non-use of required safety equipment.
JOB CONDITIONS:
Normal working hours are from 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday with a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks as scheduling allows. Hybrid position allowing for 2-3 days of remote work, depending on the contract’s needs and at the discretion of the Director of Custodial Services.
This position is non-exempt and receives overtime pay at one- and one-half times the regular rate of pay for all hours worked over 40 hours in a workweek, beginning Saturday 12:00am CST through Friday 12:00pm (midnight) CST.
CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING REQUIRED: (At Agency's Expense)

- Ongoing training in professional and personal development subject to the discretion and approval of the Director of Custodial Services.
AGENCY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must have knowledge of DRTC Mission and Philosophies.
- Must be familiar with and adhere to all DRTC policies/procedures, code of ethics, professional workplace conduct, and organizational structure of the agency, including all agency safety and emergency procedures.
- Comprehends and complies with all standards set forth by regulatory agencies, i.e. Source America, DOL, within their realm of program involvement.
- Use agency tools and procedures to assure organization and consistency.
- Handles highly sensitive information for The Agency and must maintain total confidentiality regarding:
1. Employees’ pay and employment status information
2. Protected information of all individuals
3. Proprietary matters pertaining to the administrative functions of The Agency.
RESPONSIBILITIES – ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Monitors employee payroll prep processing daily for five (5) federal contracts; meet weekly deadlines and complete necessary documentation and informs Payroll Manager when payroll prep is completed weekly by Tuesday 11:00am for those contracts processing payroll that week. Forwards all pertinent information to Payroll Manager & Director of Custodial Services.
Review Tardy & Absence Report on the payroll system, documents, and reports any violations of policy to the appropriate Contract Manager on a daily basis.
Performs scheduled site visits to each contract location bi-weekly to complete tasks such as monthly mileage reimbursement logs, invoices submission, and filing as needed.
