Description
Essential Functions:
Moves subcontract supplies from the warehouse to the work floors utilizing appropriate equipment, i.e. pallet jacks, as needed.
Works on the various contracts and follows the Job Task Analysis to complete the project requirements.
Distributes sub-contract work to ensure individuals always have paid work available.
Removes product from production floors, inspects product to ensure quality control and prepares for shipment. Labels and palletizes customer product for shipping.
Assists in work floor clean up, removal of completed production and set up for the following day.
possesses a working knowledge of time study procedures, performs and participates in them as requested.
Visually surveys work areas and ensure the safety of individuals and basic cleanliness.
Maintains the dock and warehouse area to ensure cleanliness, to include the cleanliness of the dock area, and plastic curtains.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalency (G.E.D., HiSET, TASC)
- Experience with developmentally disabled population preferred
- Experience in light industrial work
Hiring requirements:

Physical requirements:
The following physical requirements are necessary to meet this Job Description:
- Standing and/or sitting for up to eight hours
- Able to move a maximum weight of 50 pound vertically, 25 pounds horizontally, and relocate the described weights a maximum distance of 100 feet.
- Able to demonstrate adequate dexterity skills.
- Adequate vision to perform essential functions of the job.
- Additional physical requirements may include sitting, bending, stooping, lifting, grasping and stretching, depending on assignment.
Job conditions:
Normal working hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (with 30 minutes for lunch at the agency). Two fifteen-minute breaks, if scheduling allows.
This position is non-exempt and receives overtime pay at one- and one-half times the regular rate of pay for all hours worked over 40 hours in a workweek beginning Saturday 12:00am through Friday midnight.
