The Role

In this role you will analyze customer financial condition and authorize customer credit lines to minimize bad debt risk and maximize accounts receivable collections. 

What you will do in this job:

  • The credit analyst will be responsible for a customer portfolio that includes making collection calls for past due customers
  • Monitor AR aging to determine potential payment issues and promptly follow up for resolution  
  • Navigate customer disputes and negotiate, if needed, to reach resolution; preserving the customer relationship
  • Recognize deteriorating credit situations and recommend and/or implement solutions
  • Communicate credit department and Company payment policies

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • High school diploma, 2-4 years college degree in Business, Finance and/or Accounting preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of collective experience in accounting, credit and collections
  • Knowledge of UCC Article 9 and Mechanic lien laws
  • Knowledge of the US Bankruptcy

What will put you ahead:

  • Interpretation of financial statements from a lending perspective
  • Experience with AS400 and Coda preferred
