Job Description

Primary Function
The Senior Payroll Analyst will have experience in payroll processing and have a strong understanding in federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices. This individual will also address any questions or concerns regarding payroll. As the Payroll Team grows, there will be ample opportunity for career growth and advancement within the department. This position will report to the Director of Payroll located in Atlanta, GA, and will consider other locations for the right candidate. This role will also allow the individual to work on a partially remote basis.
All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which Caliburn International is recognized.  Actively support and uphold the Company’s stated vision, mission and values.

Prepare and process labor as part of a team for 6000+ weekly timesheets.
Audit timesheets in Deltek T&E to ensure charge codes/pay types are properly recorded.
Process timesheet corrections in Deltek T&E & Costpoint.
Assist in the preparation of payroll & management reports, to include payroll account reconciliation, workers compensation.
Support and assist employees with concerns or questions regarding payroll and system troubleshooting inquiries.
Provide administrative support as needed.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or relevant field; and/or, 7 years of relevant progressive experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
3 – 5 years of experience working in payroll.     
STRONG Deltek/Costpoint experience – minimum 3-5 years required.
3 - 5 Job Costing/ project labor experience required.
Demonstrated knowledge of wage and hour laws and how they affect labor.
Ability to run integrations between systems.
Experience with Biometric clocks.
SCA contract experience a plus.
Experience with FN/LN payroll a plus.
Solid working knowledge of tax code.
Ability to work independently and function in a remote work environment.
