Location; 8600 Astronaut Blvd; Cape Canaveral, FL
Under supervision of the SVP International Operations, the Director of International Program Operations is responsible for the oversight and delivery of the international programs assigned to their direct reports, Program Managers, and their staff.
Reports to the SVP International Operations All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which CHS is recognized.

Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in business or healthcare administration.
Additionally, 5-7 years’ progressive administrative/management experience.
Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills required with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated skills in staff management, project management and contract negotiation. Management experience should include
Must have experience in successfully working with, and leading, integrated teams, and using current business management principles.
Must have experience and demonstrated ability in staff development and project management.
Proficiency with computer and common office equipment, as well as with MS Office products required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in business or healthcare administration.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform and/or provide direction and support for the following services:
Responsible for the development and oversight of the strategic vision for the programs.
Must exhibit organizational leadership and serve as a resource and mentor to assigned Program Managers and staff.
Assumes oversight, accountability and administrative responsibility for all designated international programs throughout the contract life cycle.
Maintains involvement, communication, and a productive relationships in material client issues that could impact Comprehensive Health Services, Inc.’s status with the client.
Develops and oversees the implementation and compliance of policies,  guidelines and standard operating procedures for program activities, to ensure achievement of financial and operational goals and to deliver “Best in Class”  services.
Accountable for audit outcomes and any necessary plans for improvement resulting from audits.
Maintains budgetary responsibility for client profit and loss statement
Collaborates with corporate resources (HR, IT, Quality, Contracts, Logistics,
Purchasing, Compliance, Finance and Accounting) regarding company processes, policies, and procedures; and their responses to client requests.
Uses continuous quality improvement methods to identify performance gaps, develop innovative solutions and implement changes for program enhancement.
Responsible for any changes to the client’s statement of work.
Direct, plans, coordinates, and monitors the service delivery of subcontracted vendors and suppliers to Corporate. to ensure that operational objectives are achieved with those subcontractors.
Determines which corporate support functions are appropriately introduced and directs the Program Managers as to which support functions are to be used.
Develops relationships with employers and their internal customers including human resources, security, environmental health and safety, healthcare vendors, consultants and other parties that effect business development efforts.
Ultimately responsible for the operations of direct reports on a daily basis.
Leads weekly team meetings to ensure open, two-way communication at all times through Government organizational departments.
Ensures regulatory compliance is maintained to include CEUs and other mandatory training staff.
Manages the financial performance, customer service, and quality outcomes of assigned contracts, adhering to contractual requirements and ensuring all service deliverables are met.
Oversees the billing process to ensure thorough, accurate, and timely processing.

Identifies and pursues business development opportunities
Reviews reports on operations with Program Managers on a regular basis to ensure contract performance and advises on all aspects of program operatios with managers.
Develops and mentors team members from a careering perspective; ensuring annual appraisals are completed in a timely manner; goals and work plans are collaboratively (where applicable) and consistently implemented and executed;  performance issues are addressed fairly and appropriately; consulting with management/corporate support as appropriate.
May lead or participate in interdepartmental project groups or task forces to ntegrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, new task efforts, contract awards, and new policy requirements.
Supports marketing/sales and Business Development objectives efforts as requested.
May deploy for up to 90 days, if required
May be asked to travel for client meetings, presentations, etc. Travel as required, both domestically and internationally.

Other Requirements:
May be assigned to other tasks as needed.
Performs duties in a safe manner. Follows the corporate safety policy.
Participates and supports safety meetings, training and goals.
Ensures safe operating conditions within area of responsibility.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area.

Physical Requirements:
Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 15lbs.
Must be confirmed by a medical examination to be “medically and dentally fit” in accordance with DOS requirements for service in Iraq Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment; travel  in Iraq is required by surface or air
The climate is desert-like, hot, and prone to dust storms
