Compliance Analyst Supervisor
The Compliance Analyst Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the compliance analyst team and ensuring that residential mortgage loans are originated following federal and state regulatory guidelines as well as CCHL internal policies.
Essential/Primary Job Functions:
Representing the department in a professional and enthusiastic manner by provided an exceptional customer service and support to internal staff; Supervising daily compliance analyst team functions and assigning tasks as necessary; Review of system completion to confirm accurate and complete disclosures are provided to all applicants as required by federal and state regulations as well as internal policy; Providing applicable disclosures to applicants through edisclosure feature in LOS and/or providing applicable disclosure sets to production staff for face-to-face meetings; Confirming that all applicable disclosures were provided to all applicants within the timeframes required by federal and state regulations as well as internal policy; Determining the first allowable closing date based on the delivery of applicable disclosures and appraisal; Reviewing submitted compliance conditions and issuing a compliance clear to close; Confirming that accurate data is housed in LOS for purposes of HMDA reporting; Issuing notices required under ECOA; Utilizing reports to facilitate pipeline management; Supporting production staff by providing training opportunities on federal, state and internal compliance requirements.
Job Requirements for Essential/Primary Job Functions:
Ability to lead and motivate a team; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Intermediate computer skills; Attention to detail; Understanding of flow of mortgage production process; Ability to maintain high level of service during peak periods of each monthly cycle; Understanding of federal and state disclosure guidelines.
Minimum 3-year residential mortgage compliance experience; Supervisory experience preferred.
