The Yard Coordination Manager is responsible for the overall yard operations across multiple facilities within assigned territory. Also responsible for daily operations. Develop, implement and maintain yard operational process for all divisions for assigned locations companywide.  Manage the rental machine Return-to-Rental process at assigned Foley locations.

Job duties:

  • Provide direct management to Yard Coordination Supervisors and Yard Coordinators across assigned territory. This includes the scheduling and daily tasks of the Yard Coordinators
  • Collaborate with management to develop operational strategies, goals, budgets and operating cost controls
  • Monitor employee compliance with both federal and company quality and safety requirements, take immediate corrective actions when non-compliance occurs
  • Develop, implement and review current and new yard policies and procedures to create consistency across the organization
  • Work closely with other departments across the company to establish and meet performance objectives and goals
  • Ensure the accuracy and timely preparation, processing, and distribution of all necessary operational reports and records. This includes; audits of sales, rental assets, and attachments inventory, fuel process reporting, etc
  • Manage shipping and receiving process. Initiate resolutions and implement changes as needed
  • Identify yard and equipment maintenance needs; initiate the repair process as needed
  • Provide customer support on product and machine operations inquires
  • Ensure customers are trained on the safe operation of the equipment and assist both the customers and delivery personnel with loading and unloading of equipment
  • Assist with daily yard tasks as needed
  • Oversee and direct the yard organization, maintenance and upkeep at all facilities

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Basic repair and diagnostic experience with equipment is required
  • 3+ years of management experience is required
  • Ability to positively motivate and manage employees
  • Problem solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Cat and Allied equipment and how equipment is operated
  • Excellent customer relations skills
  • Strong communication skills

 What will put you ahead:

  • Prior experience working in a construction/agricultural/automotive or related industry
