Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
Location: Balad, Iraq

Primary Function

Experienced HRBP responsible for applying business knowledge and HR expertise in a fast-paced, remote, and austere environment.  The HRBP will be responsible for providing a wide range of HR-related support, advice, strategies and planning that play a key role in the success of the Caliburn mission. 

 Responsibilities
Collaborate with colleagues in the human resources department to develop policies, programs, and solutions.
Conducts meetings with respective internal client groups.
Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
Responsible for implementing employee discipline and corrective actions.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance and delivering performance management programs.
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
Works with international employees with expatriate assignments including deployment along with required visa requirements.
Responsible for talent management including employee recruitment, organizational structure, workforce planning, and employee onboarding.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Responsible for HRIS management working with information technology and corporate HRIS to resolve problems.
Maintains awareness of the cultural concerns and implications.
Responsible for the administration of employee benefits.
Accomplishes HR key performance indicators (KPI) Analyze data trends and metrics to inform business decisions.
Supervises 2-4 human resources associates.er duties assigned by management.

 Essential Skills and Experience
Bi-lingual Arabic English language skills (read, write and speak)
Translation experience required
General knowledge of human resources policies and procedures
General knowledge of U.S. and Iraqi employment and labor law
General knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday experience a plus)
Knowledge of U.S. based benefits programs
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Excellent communication and people skills

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in related area with a minimum of 3 years of HR experience relevant experience can be considered in lieu of education
At least 1+ year of international experience
Valid driver's license required
SHRM-or HRCI certifications a plus
