Salary Range: $79,748.00 To $93,820.59 Annually
Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM - 40 Hours
Under the direction of the VP Business Services, the Business Treasury Officer is responsible for the administrative monitoring and strategic implementation of the Credit Union’s business ancillary products (RDC, ACH, Merchant and Payroll services) and business deposit products and services (Accounts, Online Banking and Relationship Pricing).

Regularly provides reports and updates regarding the Credit Union’s business ancillary products and deposits to the EVP Chief Credit Officer, ALCO (if necessary) and other Credit Union departments and branches.
Provides leadership, coaching, mentoring, and training to commercial lenders and branch employees in the areas of business deposit and ancillary products.
Regularly visits with existing or prospective business members to discuss and/or promote the Credit Union’s business deposit and ancillary products.
Responsible for the strategic planning, annual budgeting, and monthly monitoring of the Credit Union’s fee income (and cost of funds when applicable) for all deposit and business ancillary products.
Completes all necessary month-end reports and submits them on time to the VP Commercial Lending and any other necessary department heads or employees.
Assists the EVP Chief Credit Officer in establishing and attaining monthly and annual goals.
Works in tandem with members of Leadership and other department heads to ensure a cohesive working environment between all departments and branches.
Ability to collaborate with multi-level employees across the Business Services and Branch Operations departments.
Assists in developing, implementing, and maintaining practices, controls and procedures which conform to and fulfill the financial objectives of the Credit Union.
Assists in coordinating with vendors in developing, planning, and implementing special projects.
Compiles and analyzes a variety of statistical reports and materials.
Identifies areas in need of improvement and recommends changes.
Monitors results and variances to established budget. Regularly reports variances to the EVP Chief Credit Officer.
Plans, installs, and configures Business Remote Deposit Capture Scanners and software with business members.
With the assistance of the Education Department, schedules and conducts operational and product knowledge training for branch employees as it relates to business deposit and ancillary products and services.
Attends meetings, training sessions, sales events, open houses, receptions, fundraisers, and member appreciation functions as required.
Works closely with VP Business Services to maintain, develop and revise policies, procedures, forms, and worksheets pertaining to business products, services, and processes, and to organize and maintain cash management and business member ACH files.
Actively participates in project implementations, including attending project team meetings, managing assigned projects, and completing assigned project deliverables.
Continuously monitors product offerings and best practices of competitors and reports findings to VP Business Services.
Prepares correspondence and provides telephone follow-up on outstanding items, i.e. financial statement updates and bank statements relating to cash management and business member RDC and ACH documents.
Regularly attends and participates in in-house training.
Performs duties as assigned by management and may be assigned to work at any location.
Member Service Orientation
The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this position.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent knowledge of branch operational activities, sales practices and business ancillary projects required.
Five or more years increasingly responsible experience within a financial institution, or other related experience that may be relevant.
Proven track record of producing results in the areas of sales and member service.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
Credit Union products, services, programs, and promotions.
Knowledge and understanding of business deposit products and services and business deposit operations and processes.
Proficiency with MS Office required.
Proficiency with PowerPoint, Goldmine and Symitar desirable.
Other Skills and Abilities
Ability to be bonded.
Operates a variety of office equipment and machines.
Travels, attends, and participates in meetings, seminars, and conferences held before and after normal business hours that may require unaccompanied long-distance travel and overnight lodging.
