Summary
The Senior Education Services Officer plans, directs, and coordinates partnerships and alliances with schools and organizations to implement the CoastHills Financial Education Program, designed to address the financial education needs of members and the greater community. Under the direction of the VP Education and Communication, the Senior Education Services Officer executes strategies and plans that effectively promote CoastHills’ commitment to financial education in the communities it serves and that support the goals and objectives of the Credit Union.

Oversees the development and implementation of the CoastHills Financial Education Program. Responsible for curriculum development, production of training materials, and communications strategies for outreach to the communities, organizations, and members who would benefit from participating in this Program.
Identifies key education community contacts with the intent of developing and nurturing relationships with decision makers within the education community.
Identifies key financial education trends and delivers high-value information that will gain buy-in from the educational community. Responds to educators’ financial education needs.
Develops plans for addressing member and community financial literacy, and oversees a communications plan to promote the Credit Union’s financial education program
Forms collaborative relationships with Credit Union members and community groups.

Senior Education Services Officer
Identifies and organizes key Credit Union personnel who can represent CoastHills well in the classroom and meet the needs of educators and community organizations.
Creates and delivers regular training programs to CoastHills representatives on financial education curriculum and how to deliver it to classes.
Ensures that financial education materials represent the voice and brand of CoastHills, while ensuring the consistency with existing tone/feel of our internal and external communications.
Manages requests from other employees for financial education materials, ensuring consistency of delivery and of CoastHills brand.
Responsible for the success and effectiveness of the Financial Education Program, measured through the monitoring, tracking, and reporting of financial education outreach efforts and strategy for end-of-year reports.
Responsible for completing all job functions (both internally and outsourced) within the timeframes and performance standards as established by the VP of Education and Communication.
Represents CoastHills Credit Union in a positive image through the quality, effectiveness, and accuracy of communication materials.

Qualifications
The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this position.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in in business, marketing, communications, organizational development or equivalent plus three to five years practical experience or equivalent training or any combination of skills and experience equivalent to above requirements.
Previous professional experience in teaching and training all age groups.
Previous experience in content and curriculum development, with a focus on seminars and presentations.
Strong public speaking background and delivery of classroom presentations for K-12, college, and adult audiences.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
Money Management Certified Trainer preferred.

Knowledge
Advanced skills with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required.
Strong knowledge of popular social media applications.

Other Skills and Abilities
Bi-lingual ability in Spanish required.
Ability to deliver training across multiple modalities (Face-to-face, virtual, online) and knowledgeable in current collaboration tools for virtual and online delivery.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Possesses strong decision-making abilities, project management capabilities, and organizational skills.
High level of creativity and initiative; self-motivated.
Detail oriented with excellent follow-up.

Senior Education Services Officer
Ability to operate office machines and equipment, including presentation hardware.
Ability to lift to 25lbs.
Able to travel, attend, and participate in meetings, seminars, and conferences held before and after normal business hours that may require unaccompanied long-distance travel and overnight lodging.
Able to work a variety of hours, including evenings and weekends.
Must be able to work independently.
