Description

This opening for Master Data Analyst presents you with a fantastic opportunity to be a part of building exciting new capabilities within Dermalogica. You will be well versed and interested in all aspects of master data process management, particularly the execution of defined technical data workflow and item maintenance in support of ongoing and innovative business opportunities. You will be excited by the development of new systems, processes, and approaches to support functional performance improvements.

Alongside this, there is the need to determine and implement appropriate performance metrics as a basis for future performance improvements in pursuit of world-class levels of master data integrity. You will be someone who can do this in a smart and intelligent way, merging best-practice thinking in sales, inventory and operational planning with the latest technology and software developments available.

In addition to this, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to self-lead oneself to higher levels of performance, by developing a clear vision for the master data functions and setting clear direction and structure of adherence to standard operating procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing the established policy with master data management from item birth to discontinuance.
  • Monitor and analyze manufacturing master data, key data, and master relationship of data within the supply chain organization.
  • Identifies areas for manufacturing master data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design enhancements.
  • Support the documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity within the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders regarding data management policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise one (E1) data within JDE is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
  • Manage, analyze, and resolve data initiative issues and manages revisions needed to best meet internal and customer requirements while adhering to published master data policy standards.
  • Assist in manufacturing master data management, governance, and data quality requirements with other functional data owners to ensure integrity across the operation of financial systems is consistent and meets stated business rules and requirements.
  • Manage the change control process for manufacturing execution documentation and system of record review.


Education and/or Experience:
  • You will hold a Bachelors Degree and ideally a relevant professional qualification
  • You will have 5+ years of relevant Master Data experience, specifically with manufacturing planning and execution
  • You will have experience identifying and implementing novel solutions to existing operational issues, preferably technology based
  • You will be able to demonstrate an ability to fail fast and iterate quickly
  • Your approach will be results-oriented with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to build productive relationships with peers
  • You will have an in-depth understanding of ERP systems and principles, with experience in JD Edwards helpful.
  • In addition, you will be familiar with the latest planning systems and have a keen interest in developing and using technology solutions.
