Belong. Believe. Be You. Belden.

The traffic lights you pass every day. The stadium where you saw your last concert. Even out above the clouds on the international space station. Belden’s impact is found all around the world, and beyond. There’s a lot of history behind us, and so much more ahead. Help us write the next 100 years as a member of our Ops/Supply Chain Internship Program.

Internship opportunities in our Operations Engineering teams offer current students an opportunity to work on important business projects, collaborate with experienced managers and deliver real results for the organization. During a twelve-week internship, students will gain hands-on experience working on creating real business solutions while also developing project management skills, interpersonal skills, and field-specific knowledge.

The majority of our Operations Engineering internships are based out of our facilities in Richmond, Indiana, with other possible locations including Syracuse, NY; Elizabeth, NJ; and Washington, PA.

We believe in the unlimited potential of a more connected, safer, better world.

As a member of our 2022 Internship Program, you’ll be fully immersed with a global team of Ops and Supply Chain experts, eager to teach and learn from you along the way.

These fast-paced positions are intended for individuals who are interested in not only developing themselves personally, but also making a substantial contribution to the company. While in the role, you will be expected to work towards goals, deliver results and present to business leaders.

Be You.
You do your best work when you’re empowered to bring everything that makes you uniquely you to your work. We embrace the diverse perspectives and experiences each team member brings to their role, and we know it’s a catalyst for innovation. Here are a few things we’re looking for in our Ops Intern members:

  • Passion – We’re seeking enthusiastic individuals who are ready to take on a challenge and are committed to continuous improvement and driving results.
  • Academic Achievement – This position is ideal for anyone pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering and Industrial Engineering, with at least two years of undergraduate coursework completed. Minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
  • Intellectual Curiosity – We recognize we have as much to gain from the Internship Program as our team members do. Your questions and ideas are welcome here, and we can’t wait to hear them.

Let’s Write the Next 100 Years Together.
Join a global community striving to improve connectivity and security. The work we’re doing puts our people on the front lines of impacting lives and shaping the future. Start your story of innovation by helping Belden write the next chapter in ours. Your future starts at Belden.
