The Medical Skin Care Education Lead will support the development and execution strategy of US Medispa education in conjunction with providing advanced skin treatments at Dermalogica Flagship Stores. In this cross-functional role, you will serve as the key educational content expert, Medispa skincare expert, and voice of inspiration to Professional Skin Therapists working in US Medispa. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of medical skincare services and skincare industry knowledge along with the ability to demonstrate a personalized educational approach to all interactions. As a key educational lead, this highly visible role will showcase advanced understandings of skin and product knowledge, expert skin therapy skills, and brand enthusiasm, positively contributing to Dermalogicas success.

  • 60% of time will be dedicated to the development, facilitation, and management of comprehensive medical services curriculum, while 40% of time will provide advanced skin services to clients at the Dermalogica Flagship Stores, delivering exceptional results and outstanding customer service.

  • Work alongside the Senior Curriculum Manager to develop, create and maintain advanced curriculum designed to upskill medical based Professional Skin Therapists and Service providers.

  • Work with National Training Manager to support Instructor knowledge and hands on skills with Dermalogica Advanced Services.

  • Partner with field sales team to provide education support and teach Why Dermalogica classes for prospective medical based accounts

  • Conduct Dermalogica Advanced Service theory and practical classes via streaming medium to licensed professionals

  • Conduct in-person Dermalogica Advanced Services classes to licensed professionals

  • Provide client services 2 days a week at Dermalogica on Montana and/or Dermalogica in West Hollywood. Services include Microneedling, Dermaplaning, Fibroblast/plasma services.

  • Support social media content by fact checking Advanced Service posts and information to ensure accuracy.

  • Provide professional treatments to prospective accounts, social media influencers and long lead press

  • Proactively develops skills to maintain a high standard of educational delivery, regardless of audience or environment.

  • Always represents Dermalogica to the highest standard

  • Current Registered Nurse CA License required
  • Current CA Estheticians license a plus
  • Two (2) plus years of hand-on experience in esthetic services required
  • Practical knowledge of microneedling, dermaplaning and fibroblast/plasma treatments a plus

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Experience with Articulate curriculum authoring tool a plus
  • Knowledge and professional experience with Dermalogica products and concepts is a plus

  • Ability to travel at least 10% (includes occasional overnight/weekend travel) required
  • Ability to support flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings when required
