Description
Qualifications
•
High school diploma or GED required
•
Directly related management expertise in fiscal services, administration, and human resources gained through either 2-years of equivalent-level work experience or completion Bachelor’s Degree in business management or related discipline
•
At least 3 years of additional work experience that can be demonstrated to be applicable to the duties listed on the
•
Knowledge of warehouse management principles, practices, and procedures
•
Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures
•
Knowledge of budgeting cost estimating, and fiscal management principles and procedures
•
Knowledge of applicable legislation, standards, policies, and procedures within specialty area
•
Knowledge of appliance installation
•
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
•
Strong presentation skills to engage with motor carriers, clients, and other stakeholders
•
Skill in examining operational procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
•
Employee development skills
•
Motor Carrier development skills
•
Ability to supervise and train employees including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
•

Responsibilities
•
A Location Manager manages and coordinates the operational efforts of an individual client location under limited supervision
•
Manages current Motor Carriers and a pipeline of potential Motor Carriers
•
Conducts operational analyses, and audits current procedures to monitor and improve the efficiency of operations and client satisfaction
•
Overseeing the daily operations of a location and its various components, ensuring compliance with Company, client, local, state, and Federal policies and regulations
•
Developing or assisting with the development and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with those of the organization to ensure efficient and safe operation of the location
•
Overseeing the supervision of personnel including work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluating performance and making recommendations for personnel actions; motivating employees to achieve peak productivity and performance
•
Hold daily stand-up meetings with key stakeholders
•
Interpret and share location statistics with key stakeholders
•
Recruit additional Motor Carriers to serve any company locations; specifically domiciled location
•
Reviewing and interpreting of operating information as appropriate; coordinating and developing periodic operating analyses
•
Providing advice and assistance to top management in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of modifications to existing operations, systems, and procedures
•
Representing the organization at various community and/or business meetings; promoting existing and new programs and/or policies
•
Overseeing the supervision of one or more specified operating and/or service activities within a location as appropriate
•
Performing other duties as assigned
