Description

This opening as Program Manager presents you with a fantastic opportunity to be a part of building exciting new purchasing capabilities within Dermalogica. You will be well versed and interested in all aspects of project management of multiple cross-functional department program initiatives including but not limited to product commercialization and development, technical and innovative project management, and opportunistic process optimization. You will be excited by the development of new systems, processes and approaches to support functional performance improvements.

Alongside this, there is the need to determine and implement appropriate performance metrics as a basis for future performance improvements in pursuit of world-class levels of project performance in cost, quality, innovation, delivery, and responsiveness. You will be someone who can do this in a smart and intelligent way, merging best practice thinking in project management with the latest technology and software developments available.

In addition to this you will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead a team to higher levels of performance, by developing a clear vision for the function and setting clear direction for the team, as well as fostering a culture of skills development, coaching and support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for overall performance standards of all projects lead by the program management team.
  • Support the development and implementation of a robust process around master data and change control management.
  • Scope and identify various tasks or phases of work in the life cycle of multiple projects or products within sales, marketing, and development.
  • Establish and track the performance of program members and various groups' compliance to budgetary, time, and resource risk and requirements.
  • Formulate and implement plans for recovery, alteration of work, or handling of emergencies, disruptions to programs, production or project schedules, and unanticipated events.
  • Communicate timely progress of work, goals, problems, and other issues to appropriate levels of management.
  • Lead the overall design and execution of project management process solutions to facilitate the management of multiple programs.
  • Manage the master project plan for various programs to ensure disruptions are communicated and actioned timely across the various project touchpoints.


Education and/or Experience:
  • You will hold a Bachelors Degree and ideally a relevant professional qualification and certification
  • You will have 8+ years of relevant project or program management experience with a strong track record in developing and implementing programs and processes to facilitate timely project execution to plan
  • You will have experience of identifying and implementing novel solutions to existing operational issues, preferably technology based.
  • You will be able to demonstrate an ability to fail fast and iterate quickly.
  • Your approach will be results-oriented with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to build productive relationships with peers.
  • In addition, you will be able to demonstrates the use of data to derive insights and inform appropriate actions.
