Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Retail Associate and be accountable for driving retail sales and promoting Dermalogica services with assigned National Account retail partner doors. Working independently and in conjunction with others, you will work diligently to model the best Dermalogica practices within a fast-paced, multi-branded retail environment.

*Shifts are generally from 11:00AM to 5:00/6:00 PM with days worked to include Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and select Sundays (total of 3 to 4 days each week). Estimated workweek of 24 plus hours. Assigned store locations are in the Pasadena/Burbank vicinity, with the possibility of occasional support of a location within reasonable proximity of assigned territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Promote and sell Dermalogica, striving to reach defined retail targets.
  • Introduce guests to our services and book appointments for Professional Skin Therapists as applicable.
  • Maintain a comprehensive level of Dermalogica product knowledge including new product launches and in-store promotional efforts.
  • Effectively communicate features and benefits of Dermalogica products.
  • Provide product and promotional information to store associates.
  • Motivate store associates and skin therapists.
  • Execute planned in-store events designed to meet defined objectives on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis.
  • Write weekly recaps detailing activities, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Act as a Dermalogica Brand ambassador.

  • Strong background in retail sales and promotional event planning within the skincare, fragrance, or cosmetic industry
  • Multi-location responsibility required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • High energy, outgoing, and creativity required with the ability to interface with a wide range of individuals
  • Must have a clear understanding of market and consumer needs with the ability to communicate such needs to retail partners and appropriate Dermalogica management
  • Valid drivers license, with reliable transportation and ability to drive extensively within the territory required
