Softtek Integration Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Material Planning Leader at Hornell, NY. This is a Full-time position.

Job Description:

Technical, Business & Role Skills:

  • She/He will manage and develop Material planning team to include, Buyers, Material Planners and Procurement Specialist
  • Set up Inventory & batches delivery strategies based on Project strategy
  • Define material typology (based on ABC, variability) for defining planning tactics and to support project replenishment
  • Support finance for inventory depreciation calculation
  • Analyze Inventory content for correcting planning strategies
  • Participate to the Engineering Change committee – guarantee proper plan of material changes
  • Define and set-up parameters to implement material planning & batches strategies
  • Execute the improvement plan in regard of Inventory reduction & maximize the cash
  • Execute Project Material planning based on Project strategy
  • Monitor the Parts Maturity Follow up in coherence with project progress
  • Anticipate the risk on Material delivery
  • Create Purchase request for the project
  • Work Package Owner (WPO) for Procurement Work Package under his/her scope of responsibility

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics

Experience:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of Material, Production and/or Supply Chain Planning
  • One to two years related experience and/or training in a related field such as Purchasing, Sourcing, Logistics or other Supply Chain role
  • Fluent in English

 Technical competencies & behaviour:

  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Good Communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
