ABOUT US

The Hair & Beauty Industry Association of South Australia Incorporated (known as SAHBA) is a “Not-for-Profit” organisation run by professionals for the betterment of the industry. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

SAHBA is offering you the chance to be part of this creative industry and build your experience in a varied administrative role. As the Marketing & Administrative Assistant you will be a vital part of the association and the role will allow you to develop your skills further and gain a few more.

Hours: 

  • Part time (up to 21 hours per week)
  • We are flexible with days and hours of work. We have the capacity to offer school-based hours if wanted

Remuneration: $24 - $30 per hour (negotiable dependent on skills & experience)

Location: 

  • Room A.G02 at 120 Currie Street, Adelaide (in the TAFE building)
  • Underground parking available & plenty of public transport right at the doorstep

JOB TASKS & DUTIES

The daily administrative tasks include (but are not limited to): answering phone calls, responding to emails, updating the database, and looking into FairWork matters. Due to the numerous industry related projects that SAHBA run, the role also includes document publishing (brochures, posters etc)., website management and social media marketing. The role also gives you the chance to work in event planning.

To be considered for this position you must have experience in some of the following:

  • Office 365
  • MYOB and banking
  • Mailchimp
  • Website management and WordPress
  • Canva or similar 
  • Stripe
  • Social media
