You Have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Computer literacy in a Windows based environment and other basic office equipment.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Organized, professional administrative clerk with one year experience.
  • Notary designation is preferred; candidate may be asked to receive this certification.

Your Purpose:

To perform diversified clerical, payroll, and administrative duties in support of Human Resources and Mill Operations.

Your Work:
  • Maintain confidential personnel wage, salary, safety, training, insurance files, records, and other Human resource materials in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Payroll activities such as review, submitting and correction of time tracking for plant employees.
  • Generate requested HRIS system reports.
  • Assign PO numbers into SAP computer system for payment on various purchases that support operations.
  • Submit Service Desk tickets, such as garnishment notices, leave of absence, etc. as needed.
  • Assist with or conduct new hire orientation sessions.
  • Assist with recruiting activities, arranging applicants with medical appointments/Fit-for-Duty exams, as needed.
  • Assist with tracking of performance reviews, employee relations data, etc. as needed.
  • Assist employees with benefits related questions and annual enrollment.
  • Verification of employment and other similar requests.
  • Arrange the purchase of meals, office supplies, flowers as needed; and maintain inventory of office supplies.
  • Assign lockers to employees as needed.
  • Create meeting room reservations at request of leaders.
  • Actively participate in social responsibility actions in support of local community.
  • Distribute departmental mail and other important communication material, as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, using company P-card for various expenses.
  • Notarizing documents as may be required.
