Salary: $25.00/hour

Responsibilities
As an OA, you will:
•Hire personnel, prepare their paperwork, preparation of payroll, etc.
•coordinate responses and actions required on behalf of the Director, the VP and CEO through ongoing liaison with senior managers and staff.
•coordinate meetings and conferences, and manage calendar of appointments
•coordinate and/or prepare briefings, correspondence, submissions, and project reports
•manage the issues management and resolution tracking system
•Care for the office's aesthetics
•Run Errands for the office

Qualifications
•experience in providing senior level executive support and services
•Law enforcement background required
•ability to acquire knowledge of strategic and operational planning, resource allocation and program development processes and practices
•experience in managing budgets, forecasting and monthly reporting, and in reviewing, monitoring and tracking of expenditures
•skills in effective issues resolution and in providing strategic advice, expertise and interpretation of policies to senior executives
•ability to interpret human resources policies/guidelines and legislation such as the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act

Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• interpersonal and oral communication skills to maintain effective relationships at various levels
• written communication skills to develop reports, submissions and plans

Planning and Organizational Skills
•you have planning and organizational skills to coordinate and prioritize work to meet deadlines

Computer Skills
•you have proficiency in the use of standard desktop computer tools, applications and software, including database systems and the Internet.
