Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in specialty applying for. American Heart Association BLS Certification is required. ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NIHSS, etc. may also be required for some units (Career Placement Specialist will specify).

JOB DESCRIPTION
Nurses care for patients with temporary, progressive or permanent illnesses or disabilities that require rehabilitation. They assess and assist in designing a plan of care that is right for the patients' needs and will allow them to adapt and recover efficiently. Nurses also provide support and educate their patients through this recovery process by helping them set goals for their recovery, encouraging self-care and teaching coping skills. Nurses will also be working as a part of a team of healthcare providers such as occupational and physical therapists, physicians and pharmacists.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of current experience in med-surg or acute rehab and uphold the mandatory BCLS certification. Preferred rehab experience.
