Description
The Front End Web Developer will be responsible for developing and updating dynamic web sites for our RemedyConnect clients. You'll be joining a team that is creative, focused on results, and works together to achieve goals. The Web Developer is responsible for working with project managers and designers to build custom websites. This includes HTML and CSS coding, assisting in the QA, testing and the actual publishing of the websites.
A typical week will include 4-5 stand up style meetings or other brief meeting formats to confirm internal status on projects; typically, 3-4 phone meetings with clients to share updates and provide technical support if needed (our PM team runs the meetings 95% of the time); writing/applying HTML/CSS and customizing bootstrap/flex templates; testing completed features; debugging client trouble tickets; suggesting changes on all aspects of the company during a weekly review meeting; and supporting the Implementation Software Engineer.
Essential Functions / Tasks / Duties / Responsibilities:
Work with Designer, Project Manager, and customer on feedback and website build outs
Work with RemedyConnect support on debugging trouble tickets
Assist Implementation Software Engineer on new user-facing features and any supporting back end using TypeScript/JavaScript
Translating mock-ups and style guides into a responsive custom website
HTML and CSS coding
Assist in QA and website review process
Complete the website publishing and launch process (including DNS and A Record updates)
Monitor website performance and edit 3-5 days after launch to ensure success
Work with product team members to create intuitive and innovative solutions to customer problems
Working with team members to continuously deliver refinements and bug fixes
Building reusable components for both the front and back end to share with future applications
Requirements
Competencies:
Required:
1-2+ years of professional web development with front-end focus.
Understanding of the web development lifecycle, including QA.
Experience communicating with Designer and Project Manager
Experience communicating directly with clients.
High proficiency with the HTML/CSS/JavaScript backed by a sharp, critical eye for detail.
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and remote team members

Developers will be supplied a laptop and work remotely. Developers will be expected to communicate in person as well as via email and Slack.
Salary:
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $80,000 per year.
